July 19 at 10 am.

From our Rector:

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Hello my beloved siblings in Christ,

I hope you are doing well and staying healthy this weekend.
Please persist in praying for God’s promised peace and Kingdom of justice. Please also find ways to work for that peace and justice. Thank you to everyone for stopping by the Drive Through Food Drive last Sunday. It was great to see so many of you out to drop off a donation or two and to say hello in the parking lot for our Drive Through Food Drive.  In case you missed it, due to the incredible amount of food donated to the Miracle on the 27th, our food donations were taken directly to Canterbury College this week, avoiding the necessity for Canterbury to make the trip to the Unemployed Help Centre themselves to stock their shelves. Stay tuned for more details regarding our collections for next month … new posters and announcements are coming soon!  Thanks to everyone who has done such an amazing job of supporting the Drive Through Food Drive these past months.
In-person church gatherings remain suspended for the time being.
Please know that I pray for each of you by name throughout the week. I am open to prayer requests, too – please feel free to send those to my confidential email or mobile number listed below.

We’ve come to the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost. As has become our pattern, we will worship live together via Facebook Live at this link – https://www.facebook.com/events/908552856222962/

The link will go live in the “discussion” tab at approximately 9:50am tomorrow and worship will get underway at 10am. I’ve attached the bulletin and the readings for Sunday. Please take some time to read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest the scriptures. Your comments to the Facebook discussion and learnings are appreciated and may be offered into the broadcast. The Rev’d Paul Poolton will preach this week.
The service will also be uploaded to YouTube by noon. Please head over to the St. Augustine of Canterbury YouTube channel and subscribe for notification of this and future releases. Our combined services are uploaded to that channel to comply with the terms of the online streaming licenses we are relying on for the music that have been purchased through that parish.
I’ve also attached an order for morning prayer that you can share as a family at home or small group by telephone. I am grateful to colleagues from across the church for the ways in which we have all come to support each other with resources to share. This comes to us from The Rev’d Naomi Miller in the Diocese of Niagara.
Bishop Todd offers periodic reflections on lectionary readings and other topics – he is in the midst of a sermon series on the Book of Genesis. Please do subscribe to the Diocese of Huron channel for videos from Bishop Todd and others – https://www.youtube.com/user/diohuron/videos
I have uploaded several new features to the All Saints’ YouTube channel (UCpVGUNoRjLB95l-ylpM-stw). More is being added weekly.
Please do feel free to share these resources with your friends. All are welcome.
I look forward to “seeing” you tomorrow.
Blessings,
Robert+
