All Saints’ church will resume skate and helmet lending on Saturday, December 6, 10 am to noon continuing through December, January and February. Groups are also welcome to borrow quantities of skates for their special events by appointment at 519 253 8001 (the church office).
On Saturday , December 13, the new outdoor skating rink on city hall square will officially open starting at 12:30pm.
Skating will be free, seven days a week, weather conditions permitting with skateable ice even at temperatures a few degrees above 0c. The All Saints’ lending team will be there that afternoon to give away its surplus of small skates , sizes youth 11,12,13, and 1,2,3,4. Donations of larger skates are welcome any morning (except Sunday ) 9:30 am to noon. This will be the 24th year of giving to the community in this way.
